Saima qualified with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford in 2021.

While studying at university, Saima and a close friend opened a clinic together, where Saima provided sports massage treatments while her friend specialised in cupping therapy. Following graduation, Saima further developed and expanded the business into a physiotherapy clinic, which she continues to run in Bradford.

Following graduation, Saima began working in private practice within her local community, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from osteoarthritis and persistent pain to acute sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She has extensive experience supporting patients through recovery and developing tailored return-to-sport programmes to help them safely regain confidence and performance. She later joined the NHS, where she gained valuable experience across both inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services. Through her clinical development, Saima progressed to a Band 6 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist. Having gained extensive experience within the NHS, she has since transitioned back into private practice, where she continues to develop her specialist interests and provide high-quality, patient-centred care.

Saima has a strong background in MSK physiotherapy and rheumatology, with expertise in pain education, pain management, and women’s health. Her particular interests lie in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and supporting women’s health through evidence-based physiotherapy care.

Alongside her clinical work, Saima has volunteered as a Second Lead Physiotherapist providing pitch-side support for Bradford Women’s FC. These experiences have helped her develop into a well-rounded and confident physiotherapist, continually strengthening her specialist interest in musculoskeletal practice.

Outside of physiotherapy, Saima is an accomplished martial artist who holds a 4th-degree black belt in Ju-Jitsu. In 2019, she earned a gold medal in grappling at an in-house competition. She also enjoys archery and can often be found reading a good book in her spare time.
