Graeme is a chartered physiotherapist and qualified in 1997. Graeme’s experience includes working in private physiotherapy and sport injury clinics in York and Leeds. He has been working here at CSPC in Leeds since 2004. Previous to that, Graeme worked for seven years with the York and Scarborough NHS trusts, and has 18 years of experience of working in elite sport. 

His sports experience includes working for British Athletics as team physiotherapist for the Great Britain Mountain Running team since 2005 at the European and World championships. He is also physiotherapist providing physiotherapy support to international athletes at major athletic meetings including the Diamond League meetings, as well as physiotherapist at British Athletics altitude training camps in Kenya, South Africa and France. He has been team physiotherapist for the Indian Squash team at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014, the Gold Coast in Australia in 2018 and Birmingham in 2022. Graeme was lead physiotherapist for British Weightlifting and Paralympic Powerlifting teams for 2012 London Olympics four-year cycle. He also provides physiotherapy support to sports teams and athletes at the Leeds Beckett University, York University and to Yorkshire based athletes, triathletes and their coaches.

Graeme’s experience is in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and manual therapy and he has undertaken a large number of related post graduate training courses since qualifying. He believes that good hands-on physiotherapy treatment is a key part of providing a comprehensive and effective physiotherapy treatment and in facilitating an individual’s continuation or return to their chosen activity or sport.

His own interests are running, cycling, yoga, swimming, and hill walking.  He lives in York with his wife Sue.
