With over 15 years of expertise in professional sports and clinical practice, Chris is a highly skilled physiotherapist dedicated to optimising patient outcomes. Having led the physical performance and medicine departments at Yorkshire’s Bradford City and Rotherham United Football Clubs, Chris brings a wealth of experience in enhancing athletic performance and managing injuries at elite levels. His tenure in professional sport has honed his ability to design tailored rehabilitation and conditioning programmes that drive recovery and peak performance.

As a former part-time NHS First Contact Practitioner, Chris mastered the assessment and management of complex musculoskeletal conditions, delivering rapid and accurate diagnoses to diverse patient groups. This clinical expertise ensures a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, blending cutting-edge techniques and manual therapy with compassionate care.

Finally, Chris serves as a guest lecturer on the Sport and Exercise Medicine Diploma/MSc at the University of South Wales, sharing insights with the next generation of practitioners. The course teaches students about the management of medical illness and injury that can arise in sport alongside wider learning of what working in professional sport is really like.

In his spare time, he likes to spend time in the gym, walk his Labrador over Ilkley Moor, or you may find him in a local park with his two young sons, Roman and Raife!
